CORNWALL MUSIC WEEKEND

Lorraine and Bennett Hammond

Enjoy a weekend of music with Lorraine and Bennett Hammond. Lorraine Hammond, a nationally-known folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, grew up in Cornwall amid its balladeers, fiddlers, and square dances – some even in the Covered Bridge! Lorraine and her husband, guitarist Bennett Hammond produce some of the finest acoustic music around. They blend their instruments and create a beautiful new voice for songs and tunes that range in style from classical music through Celtic, blues and contemporary. They sing both traditional and original songs, reflecting a variety of influences from American and European traditions. Together, they are simply magical!
