Hendon Chubb (1933-2016)

Hendon Chubb born in New York and attended St. Paul’s School in Concord, Massachusetts, where he graduated in 1950.  In 1951 he took a trip to France via the Degrasse for two months. Chubb attended Yale University and graduated in 1954. After he graduated from Yale he traveled to Mexico in 1958. In 1960 he was still living in New York.

 

He married Phyllis Nauts in Cornwall on June 12 1982. During the 1980s he had residences in Cornwall and Berkley, California. He co-authored If You Love Me, Don’t Love Me: Undoing Reciprocal Double Binds and Other Methods of Change in Couple and Family Therapy with Mony Elkaim in 1997.  He also wrote The Curious Magpie which was published in 2014.  Chubb died on January 3, 2016.
