Points of Interest

The Cornwall Historical Society has on file resources to help with genealogical questions and to provide information about aspects of local history. In addition the Society has a large collection of photographs. Inquiries in person are welcome during seasonal open hours and by appointment. Phone (860-672-0505)

Questions should be submitted in writing, either by e-mail to CornHistSoc@optonline.net or to Research — Cornwall Historical Society, P.O. Box 115, Cornwall, CT 06753.

Research requests are answered by volunteers as time permits.

We are currently in the process of transferring our MSS collections
to archival containers. When the project is completed, a Finding Aid
for our archives will be made available online.

Fees

Society volunteers will do a free preliminary 15-minute search of our collections. If additional research time would be worthwhile and potential resources and facilities are identified, you may request further research, for which a fee of $15.00 per hour will be charged.

• Simple copying charges: $0.25 per page.
